光纤光栅压力传感器实验研究

【摘要】 光纤布拉格光栅(FBG)是国际上新兴的一种在光纤通讯、光纤传感等光电子处理领域有着广泛应用前景的基础性光纤器件。当前FBG的制作与应用研究成为世界各国光纤技术研究的热点和重点。光纤布喇格(Bragg)光栅传感器是利用Bragg波长对温度、应变的敏感特性制成的一种新型光纤传感器,它具有抗电磁干扰、精度高、长期稳定性好、能多点分布检测等优点,在大型复合材料和混凝土的结构监测、智能材料的性能监测、电力工业、医药和化工等领域有着广阔的应用前景。对压力的测量是光纤Bragg光栅传感器的重要应用之一。研究表明,光纤Bragg光栅传感特性稳定,是理想的压力传感元件。但是必须对光纤布喇格光栅传感探头进行合理的设计,才能使其成为能满足工程实际要求的传感器。因此对光纤Bragg光栅压力传感探头的设计和传感器的封装方法的研究对于其走向实际应用具有重要的意义。本文介绍了一种新颖的光纤布喇格光栅压力传感器,这种传感器将光纤光栅粘贴在圆柱形细杆的侧面,同时通过光纤光栅解调仪监测光栅布喇格波长的漂移。经实验证明该光纤光栅压力传感器具有良好的灵敏性、线性和重复性,且有比较快的响应速度。将实验测量数据与理论值进行了比较,两者差别很小。本文对光纤Bragg光栅压力传感技术进行了研究,所做的主要工作如下:1)阐述了光纤Bragg光栅的工作原理,系统研究了光纤光栅的应变和温度传感特性。2)对现有的光纤布喇格光栅压力传感技术进行了分析和比较,在前人研究的基础上,设计了一种新颖的光纤布喇格光栅压力传感器,首先定性研究其中心反射波长随应力的改变而变化的趋势。3)对实验数据进行了处理和分析,定量的研究了该光纤布喇格光栅传感器的中心反射波长与应变之间的线性度,并得出了其压力灵敏度。最后在实验结果的基础上总结该方案的优缺点,并提出了改进意见。
【Abstract】 The Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) is a new fibre-optical device, and is widespread used in fiber-optic communications, fiber sensing, and so on. At present, the fabrication and application of FBG is the focus and priority of fibre-optical technology studies in the world.Fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensor, which uses the property that the Bragg wavelength is sensitive to temperature and strain, is a new kind of fiber optic sensor. In addition to having the same functions as the traditional electric sensors, the FBG sensor also has some special characteristics such as distributed sensing, immune to electromagnetic interference, high precision and long-term stability. So it has widely applicable perspective in many fields such as the structure monitoring of large compound material and concrete, the performance monitoring of the intelligent materials, electrical power industry, medicine industry, chemical engineering etc. Stress measurement is an important kind application of FBG sensing.According to the existed researches, FBG has stable sensing properties, and it is an ideal kind of stress sensing element. And reasonable design for FBG stress sensing probe is necessary, and then it can meets practical requirements of engineering project. So reasonable design of FBG pressure sensor probe and sensor packaging methods is important at present. The paper reviews the sensing principle and the characteristics of FBG, and designs a new FBG stress sensor. It is to glue the fiber grating on the side of cylinder, and put force on the top surface equally. At the same time , Monitoring the drifting of the FBG center wave length .It has been proved by the experiment that the responsibility linearity and repeatability of the FBG stress sensor are good. At last, it has been found that the pressure-sensitivity of experimental value agrees well with the theoretical value.Some work done in this paper is listed as follow:(1) It elaborated the principle of FBG and has done some systematic research on the stress and temperature sensing property of FBG; (2) Analysis of the current FBG pressure sensor technology, and design a new FBG pressure sensor;(3) Processing and analysis of experimental data.
