【Abstract】 Currently, women’s peace movement hasn’t yet been paid full attention that it should deserve both in the domestic and international academic circles. In this dissertation, I mainly investigate the American women’s peace movement during the Vietnam War, and try to understand the movement in the background of the whole American women movements as well as the American people’s peace movements. I want to display the circumstances of the American women’s peace movements that haven’t attracted enough concern, and give some thinking materials for those who like the subject to understand the women’s peace movements both in the United States and in the whole world. The dissertation is divided into five parts:1、 Several problems about the women’s peace movement;2、The rising and causes of the movement of the Anti-Vietnam War by the American women;3、The process、targets and ways of this movement;4、The role of the American feminist organizations during the movement of the Anti-Vietnam War;5、Some opinions on the American women’s peace movement during the Vietnam War.Generally speaking, during the Vietnam War the American women’s peace movement not only opposed to the ruthless mankind’s war, but also opposed to domestic violence, sex violence, discriminating against women, injuries to women’s mind and body, and other forms of violence that is aiming at women. The movement exceeded previous similar movements not only in depth, but in width and it is very important in the history of the American peace movement and women’s movement. In the history of women’s peace movement, for the first time it took "maternal instinct" as a theoretic basic to produce a particular kind of effect
