圆形槽波导双管功率合成器的研究

【摘要】 随着信息时代的到来,各国军事科技和国民经济对毫米波资源需求日增。而随着毫米波工作频率的提高,单个固态器件的输出功率远不能满足实际需求。为了得到大的毫米波功率源,人们提出了功率合成技术。由东南大学杨鸿生教授等人提出的新型传输线——圆形槽波导,具有大尺寸、低损耗、大功率容量、主模频带宽等优良特性,能够应用在毫米波甚至亚毫米波频段。本论文利用了圆形槽波导的这些优良特性,设计制作了圆形槽波导双管功率合成器。围绕本课题,本论文主要开展了如下工作:首先,介绍了用横向谐振法求解的圆形槽波导主模TE1 (11 )的解析解,然后应用有限元方法(FEM)对圆形槽波导进行分析计算(计算时利用了Ansoft公司的HFSS软件),得到了圆形槽波导主模TE1 (11 )的数值解。比较两种方法得到的结果,理论分析结果与数值计算结果吻合,证明了我们在HFSS中为圆形槽波导建模的正确性,为后面对圆形槽波导功率合成器的数值分析打下基础。其次,利用有限元方法(FEM),分析计算了圆形槽波导中具有径向盘结构的管座的外电路阻抗,同时分析计算了低通滤波器、模式变换器和短路活塞。这都给圆形槽波导功率合成器的设计和调试工作奠定了基础。最后,根据理论分析和数值计算的结果,并兼顾加工工艺的要求,我们设计制作了8mm波段的圆形槽波导双管功率合成器,并对其进行测试,获得了比较满意的结果,从实验上验证了圆形槽波导在功率合成方面的优越性能。

【Abstract】 With the advent of information era, the demand of millimeter wave resources is increasing in military technology and national economy. But the output power of single solid state device decreases quickly with the increase of the frequency of millimeter wave. This can’t meet the fact demand. To obtain higher power output, power synthesis technology is adopted in millimeter wave.Circular groove guide is a new type of transmission line, which was firstly introduced by prof. Yang Hong-sheng et al of southeast university. It has some attractive advantages, such as large structural dimension, higher power handling capacity, wide main-mode frequency band. It can be used in millimeter-wave and even sub-millimeter-wave bands. In this dissertation, a double-device power combiner in circular groove guide is designed based on the advantages.Research work has been done around this project as follow:Firstly, the field of the main mode in circular groove guide was obtained by use the analytical method and the numerical method (FEM) respectively. The cutoff frequency and the field pattern of the main mode were also obtained. Numerical results are good agreement with the analytical results, which verifies the mode of circular groove guide in HFSS.Secondly, the input impedance of post mount, low-pass filter, and mode converter are analyzed by the FEM method. These are the theory foundation of circular groove guide power combiners and give help in the practical testing of circular groove guide power combiners.Finally, we made a circular groove guide combiner at 8mm wave band based on the top theory and numerical results. And the testing results were made good agreement with the analytical and numerical results.
