【摘要】 森林作为一种重要的资源,包括森林实物资源(林木、林产品和林地等)和森林环境资源(涵养水源、保持水土、培肥地力、纳碳吐养、生物多样性保护、景观游憩及净化环境等)。尤其是后者,日益受到社会各界的关注。随着人们对环境保护的日益重视和关心,森林经营已经从过去着眼于木材资源的开发转向注重多种资源的开发,从过去单纯追求经济效益发展到追求社会、经济和生态的多种效益,向可持续发展的方向迈进,与此同时,森林资源监测已由传统的森林资源的经济利用转向环境保护的目标,特别是在森林健康监测方面,森林资源监测的重要性越来越突出。为了更好的确定森林资源的数量、质量和监测森林资源消长变化、预测森林生长,学者们研究、设计了大量的林木和林分评估模型,以及森林资源评估的方法、指标。但由于数据庞大、指标不统一、以及时效性的问题,因而得不到及时、精确的信息。本文重点介绍了当前我国森林资源监测的主要技术手段,在分析和比较之后,重点介绍了林业高新技术在森林资源调查和森林资源监测中的应用。首先介绍了3S技术RS(遥感)、GIS(地理信息系统)和GPS(全球定位系统)的概念和研究进展,以及在森林资源监测中的应用现状。其次,介绍了应用GIS技术,通过制作各类专题图,获取火地塘林场森林的空间分布格局的方法和步骤。应用数量化Ι模型,探讨了森林活立木蓄积与坡度、坡向、海拔等地形因子的关系。通过了解森林蓄积于立地因子的关系,对森林资源的保护和利用都有重要意义。更多还原
