【摘要】 知识经济时代的大学是学者的社团,是探索和传播高深学问的场所,更是社会发展的动力站。研究型大学是一个国家的科技和社会生产力发展到一定程度的一种大学形态。在我国全面建设小康社会的历史发展阶段,研究型大学如何充分发挥其社会服务职能,成为名副其实的社会“服务站”,以承担时代赋予的重大历史使命,成为我国高等教育工作者面临的一个历史课题。为此,本文探索了我国研究型大学社会服务职能发生、发展的历程,并从制度表面深入到文化思想层面,深入挖掘支配其发生和发展的力量,进而分析了当前研究型大学社会服务的现状和存在的问题,提出了相应的对策。本文共分五部分: 第一部分是引言部分,主要阐明了选题的背景、研究意义、基本思路与方法、对主要概念进行了界定; 第二部分考察了大学社会服务职能的历史演进,并对我国大学社会服务职能的萌芽、确立和发展进行了论述; 第三部分分析了我国研究型大学社会服务职能发展的动因,包括社会需要、国外研究型大学的榜样示范、科学技术、大学自身发展、文化价值观念等方面,对我国研究型大学社会服务职能发展的现状进行了较为详尽的介绍和分析,包括介绍了我国研究型大学社会服务职能的主要形式及已取得的成绩; 第四部分对我国研究型大学社会服务职能存在的问题进行了较为详尽地介绍和分析,包括大学自身、社会方面; 第五部分,基于前述内容,针对我国研究型大学社会服务职能存在的问题,提出了优化我国研究型大学社会服务职能的建议。更多还原

【Abstract】 In the knowledge economy era, the university is a community of scholars, a seat of higher and universal learning, even a power station of social development. A research university is a form of universities as the result of the development of a national science and technology and social productivity to some degree. At the stage of constructing a well-off society in an all-round way, how should research universities develop their social service function in order to complete their historical missions. This is a historic subject for the staff of higher education. So this dissertation attempts to probe into the historical evolution, current situations as well as the dominant forces in the development of Chinese research universities’ social service function, which are acquired from the system to the cultural tradition.This dissertation is divided into five parts.The first part is an introduction to the dissertation. It explains the selection of subject’s background and the significance of the study, analyses the achievements and shortcomings of the earlier studies on the topic, introduces the train of thought and research methods of the study, and defines the chief concepts and terms used in the dissertation.The second part gives a review to the evolvement of the social functions of universities and analyses the stages of gestation, establishment and development of Chinese universities’ social service function.The third part analyses the inner powers in the development of Chinese research universities’ social service function which consists of social demands, the model role of foreign research universities, science and technology, governmental interference, cultural traditions and so on. At the same time it also introduces the current developmental conditions of Chinese research universities’ social service function, which includesthe main forms and the achievements of social service function.The fourth part deeply analyses problems of research universities’ social service of our nation which includes universities itself and society.The fifth part, on the basis of former parts, according to problems of research universities’ social service of our nation, some suggestions are put forward on how to optimize the social service function of research universities in our country.更多还原
