【摘要】 众所周知,美国是一个有着自由传统的国家,言论自由就是当年新兴资产阶级对殖民者斗争的重要理论武器之一。当资本主义社会发展到一定阶段,过去的理念受到挑战,报纸与政府的关系围绕“自由”发生了许多问题。两者的关系因政治、经济、社会的复杂变化而纠缠不清,它们本身就产生于一个复杂的基础上,包括历史的、文化的和经济的、技术的多种因素,并衍生出多个理论问题。近百年来,报纸的发展又使两者产生了更多新的矛盾,同时出现了一些矛盾缓和的趋势。事实上,报纸无论作为一个阶级还是一些群体的代言人,它都代表着利益,“没有永远的朋友,只有永远的利益”,在利益面前,报纸与政府的关系实质是多重利益群之间的关系,诸如党派间、利益集团间等等。另外,公众在两者关系的处理上,有着独特的地位,在商业领域得到重视,在其他领域却日渐被冷落,与统治者宣扬的自由理念相悖。更多还原

【Abstract】 As everyone knows, U.S.A. is a country with freedom tradition, the freedom of speech isone of the important theory weapons that the new developing capitalist class struggled tocolonists that year . As the capitalist society developed into certain stage, the past idea waschallenged, the relation between newspaper and government has been rised a lot of problemsaround " freedom ". The relation between them is made very complicated because of thecomplicated changes of the politics , economy , society, and they evolve in a complicatedfoundation , including many kinds of factors of history , culture and economic , technologyand so on. In same time they derive a lot of theoretical questions out. In the last hundredyears, the development of the newspaper has made them produce more new contradictions ,the trend that some contradictions relax has appeared at the same time. In fact, as aspokesman no matter for a class or some colonies, newspaper represents the interests,"Have no eternal friend and have only eternal interests ", in front of the interests, the relationof newspaper and government are relations between many benefit groups , such as the partygroups and other interest groups,etc. In addition, the public has unique status in thisrelationship. They are been pay attention to in the field of commerce, while is treated coldlyin the other fields day by day.That is contrary to freedom idea which the ruler advocates .更多还原
