基于DSP的视觉系统设计

【摘要】 作为一种融合多学科知识的新技术,计算机视觉技术随着计算机技术和数字成像技术的发展,正广泛应用于科学技术、国防建设、航空宇航、医药卫生以及国民经济的各个领域。在工业领域,图像处理技术的日益完善和可靠、成本日益降低以及工业的高度自动化对更有效、更精确和更高速度的检测手段的需要,促使工业视觉系统飞速发展。以可编程的DSP 芯片为核心组成的应用系统具有设计周期短,能够快速制造原理样机并进行验证,能够迅速应用新算法、新标准或新协议,易于通过软件更新对产品进行快速升级等优点。本文介绍了计算机视觉的发展与应用,分析了工业视觉系统的特点、性能指标及其应用现状,并针对纺织工业中视觉系统的应用需求,提出了一个基于DSP(Digital Signal Processor)的视觉系统设计的方案。系统采用2048 像素高精度线阵相机作为图像捕获设备,并结合了通用DSP 稳定性好、可大规模集成、特别可编程性高和易于实现自适应处理的优点,一方面满足了工业视觉系统对分辨率和图像的处理速度的要求,另一方面也使系统具有应用灵活、软件更新与系统升级方便的优点。本文在对相机与DSP 芯片的各自特性进行详细分析的基础上,规划设计了视觉系统的总体方案。针对视觉系统的核心模块-图像处理卡的功能要求,分别从总体结构、关键模块两个角度,着重论述了图像处理卡的软硬设计及其实现,并分析了视觉系统在坯布疵点视觉检测和圆网印花视觉伺服中的应用。最后,针对本文所介绍的视觉系统的设计特点,分别从硬件升级和软件算法实现两个方面,提出了系统改进的意见。

【Abstract】 Computer vision, which is a comprehensive study of many subjects, has being applied in nearly all of domains that need human vision, such as science & technology, national defense, aviation & space navigation, medicine & therapies as well, along with the development of digital image technology and the computer technology. The industrial vision system has been developed greatly because of two reasons. The first one is that the image processing technology is getting more perfect and more reliable and its cost reduces greatly. The second one is that the high automation of industry needs new detecting method, which is more effective, more accurate and can work at higher speed. The vision system based on DSP (Digital Signal Processor) has many merits, such as short design cycle, quickly designing and verifying of product prototype, rapid applications of new algorithm, new standard and new protocol and it is easy to be upgraded by only renewing its software. This thesis designs a visual system based on DSP, for the requirement of automatic visual fabric-defect detecting and the visual fabric-printing motor servo in the textile industry. This system uses high-precision line-scan digital camera (2048 pixels per line) as image-grabbing equipment, and general DSP, which is programmable, of great stability and highly integrated with many extended I/O interfaces, so that the system can satisfy the requirement of high pixel resolution and high image-processing speed for industrial applications,as well as it is convenient to be used for different industrial applications. The integral structure of this vision system is designed basing on the analysis with the DSP and line-scan cameral used in the system, including their working principles and characteristics. The keystone of the system is the image-processing card, which realizes the main functions of the system. The design of the card including both of its hardware and software is discussed detailedly in this thesis. The application of the vision system in fabric-defect detecting and visual fabric-printing motor servo control is briefly discussed too. Finally, some advices are put forward for the hardware upgrading and algorithm realization to improve the system.
