校园计算网格环境中资源监测与资源发现研究

【摘要】 在校园环境内,不同的学科领域和专业、不同的研究组和科学家在开展他们的研究工作时,往往需要高性能的计算能力,而利用校园网内的计算资源构建计算网格就能很好地解决这个问题。建设校园计算网格首先要解决资源监测与资源发现问题。资源监测为其他的网格中间件提供必要的与资源有关的性能数据,是资源发现和任务分配的基础。资源发现将网格中不被用户所知道的资源与请求使用资源的用户联系起来。资源发现功能的强弱直接决定了网格的使用效率和友好程度。 本文在对网格研究的基础上,提出了建设网格应注意的问题,着重研究了资源监测与发现基本理论和相关技术,提出了资源监测与发现的方法,结合校园计算网格本身的特点,给出了建设校园计算网格应实现的功能,分析了资源监测与发现服务在校园计算网格模型中的位置,最后设计实现了校园计算网格资源监测与发现服务。

【Abstract】 Research groups and scientists from different academia filed in the universities and colleges campus always need high computation ability. Good construction for computing grids of computing resource in the existed campus can achieve the requirement. Resource monitoring and discovery is the key point which should be considered at the most beginning. Resource monitoring is the base of resource discovery and task distribution since it will offer the necessary resource information to other grid middleware. On the other hand, resource discovery can construct a bridge between unknown resources and the gird users requesting the resources. Hence the power of resources discovery will strongly and directly affect the degree of the grid usage efficiency and friendly.Based on the research of grid, the attentive problems are brought forward. This paper introduced the basic principle and also related techniques and methods of resource monitoring and discovery. Based on the characteristics of campus computing grid, there is a discussion about important functions of campus computing grid which should be realized and, analysis of the position of the resource monitoring and discovery service in the computing grid model. Finally, the services of campus computing grid’s resource monitoring and discovery have been realized.
