Turbo码的编译码器的ASIC实现

【摘要】 1993 年Berrou 等人提出了turbo 码,它通过对子码的伪随机交织实现大约束长度的编码,具有接近随机编码的特性。采用迭代译码使译码复杂度不是很大,它的误码性能在10-5 数量级上,逼近了Shannon 极限。目前,第三代通信系统的国际标准主要有:由欧洲提出的WCDMA标准,美国支持的CDMA2000标准,以及由我国提出的TD-SCDMA标准。在这三种标准中无一例外的都将turbo码列入标准。随着超大规模集成电路(VLSI)设计技术和工艺技术的发展,芯片的规模越来越大,数百万门级的电路可以集成在一个芯片上。本文介绍了用专用集成电路的设计方法来实现turbo码的编码译码功能。本论文首先介绍了turbo 码的产生背景以及目前应用的广泛性,然后又详细介绍了turbo 码的编码译码原理,最后本文讨论了针对深亚微米超大规模集成电路的时序驱动设计方法,其中包括了:系统设计、逻辑设计、综合、仿真、静态时序分析、布局、建立时钟树、布局优化、布线、后仿真等top-down 集成电路设计方法的步骤。基于这个VLSI设计技术的流程进行设计将turbo 码的编码译码功能进行物理实现。本论文的主要成果就是基于目前时序驱动的VLSI 设计技术方法将turbo 码的编码译码功能用ASIC(专用集成电路)实现。
【Abstract】 The signal of the current civilization’s development is information and transistion are increasing more and more.Obviously,how to insure the transmition of information is right is key of communication technology.Espicially,with the faster development of wireless communication,because of the wireless channel’s complexity and particularity,the transmition’s reliability is facing more difficult change.When analyzing the performance of communication system,we base the ideal AWGN channel usually. However,since wireless channel exists the characteristic of eclipse,current transmition of information faces more difficult change.If we can reduce the wrong code rate by increasing power,we don’t need any technology for controling errors.unfortunly,almost communication systems’power is limited.In order to realize the current transmition and increasing rate,we need some methods to controling errors.So,people is looking for new,stronger method to metting the development of communication systems and wireless communication.in 1993, Berrou issue the turbo code,since its excellent performance ,more and more people begin to study the turbo code. Current communication beigns from the 1920’s,experiences the first generation of analog communication and the second generation of cell communication.However,with the increasment of constoms ,people issue the third generation communication techonology .The primary ITU objectives for the 3rd generation mobile communication system are flexible/seamless global service provision and improved operational efficiencies , particularly for data and multimedia services. On the background of the 3rd Generation mobile communication system, the thesis firstly does some research on the basic principle of CDMA , the air interface requirements for IMT-02000, the interface developed by our country--TD-SCDMA and the core network layout of the 3rd Generation mobile communication system, then the thesis discussed the application of DSP to the 3G system especially to its channel decoding techniques. This thesis puts the emphasis on the encoding and decoding techniques of turbo This thesis outlines the theories of the decoding techniques, explains the programming techniques and the implementation steps for the encoding decoding algorithms , the decoding performances are analyzes in this thesis, too. This thesis is referential to research of the 3rd Generation mobile system and its decoding techniques. In the past,the popular design method of IC is inputting circuit diagram , floorplanning the circuit,placing and routing,then get the final layout.This method is used to the
