SOC设计平台的接口技术研究

【摘要】 基于平台的设计(PBD,Platform Based Design)方法是目前比较流行的一种SOC设计方法,而平台的设计则是该方法得以实现的基础。本文从两个方面对SOC设计平台(Platform)的接口技术进行了研究:接口综合即自动化接口设计和手动接口设计。论文首先提出了一种基于库与定制相结合的SOC硬件接口综合方法,并通过一个具体的实例对该方法进行了验证。其后用Verilog语言实现了基于HLB总线的SOC平台中的RAM、ROM接口设计。最后根据该SOC平台配置了相应的SOV(System-on-a-Chip Verification)平台(Testbeneh),并在该SOV平台下对RAM、ROM接口进行了RTL,代码仿真。本论文所提出的基于库与定制相结合的SOC硬件接口综合方法是国内首次提出的一种硬件接口综合方法,是一种值得借鉴的方法。同时RAM、ROM的接口设计方法也为今后的接口设计积累了经验。

【Abstract】 Nowadays, the PBD (Platform Based Design) method is a popular SOC design technique, and the design of the platform is the base of implementing this method. The Interface technology on the SOC platform is studied from two aspects in this thesis: One is interface synthesis, in other words, automatic interface design. The other is manual interface design.Firstly, a kind of SOC hardware interface synthesis method that is a method based on the library and customization is introduced and validated by an example. Secondly, the RAM and ROM interface designs on the SOC platform based on the HLB bus are implemented with Verilog HDL language. Finally, a SOV (System-on-a-Chip Verification) testbench is configured according to the SOC platform; furthermore, the RAM and ROM interfaces are simulated under this testbench.The method of SOC hardware interface synthesis based on the library and customization, which is put forward by this thesis, is presented firstly in China, it’s a recommendable method. Meanwhile, the method of RAM and ROM interface design accumulates experience for other interface designs.
