实验室信息管理系统开发

【摘要】 实验室信息管理系统(Laboratory Information Marmgement System),就是利用计算机网络技术、数据存储技术、快速处理技术来对实验室进行全方位管理的计算机软、硬件系统。通过它,实验室可以达到自动化运行、信息化管理和无纸化办公的目的,对实验室提高工作效率、降低运行成本起到至关重要的作用。随着科研和生产技术的不断发展,人们对分析测试的要求无论在样品数量、分析周期、分析项目和数据准确性等方面都提出了更高的标准,原有的人工管理模式在这种形式下已显得不太适应。因此国际上相关实验室均已朝着先进的网络化管理方向发展,国内实验室目前也正在开始采用这样的管理方式。本文主要介绍了,作者本人如何利用计算机网络及数据库技术,设计、开发并实施“山东省分析测试中心实验室信息管理系统”的全过程。系统功能的设计主要是按照GB/T15481-2000(idt ISO/IEC 17025) 《检测和校准实验室能力的通用要求》,并参照其它国际质量管理标准,LIMS国际规范,遵循质量管理和质量保证体系,对影响实验室的诸要素:人员、设施和环境条件、检测要校准方法、仪器设备、样品等,进行全面管理和控制,有效规范和监控实验室的工作流程,提高工作效率,为实验室工作规范化、标准化和量化管理提供良好的平台,使之达到自动化、信息化、无纸化的目标。系统在测试中心内部采用基于客户机/服务器(Client/Server)分布式架构体系,客户端使用Windows平台,开发工具使用PB(Power Builder 9. 0) ,数据库使用Microsoft SQL Server 2000。同时还搭建了浏览器/服务器(Browser/Server)架构的客户服务系统,利用Internet来提供中心外部用户对LIMS个性化访问和交互,服务器平台采用Windows 2000 Server提供的IIS(Internet Information Server),动态的World Wide Web(WWW)应用由Active Server Page(ASP)来实现,开发工具使用Microsoft Visual InterDev6与Microsoft FrontPage XP,开发语言使用JavaScript脚本语言与HTML超文本标识语言、Java脚本语言。本文中还介绍了系统搭建中的经验,如数据库结构优化,网络结构的优化,程序的优化。另外针对于测试中心管理的需要,为把企业的内部数据和外部数据进行了有效的集成,以提供给中心的各管理层决策、分析人员使用,还设计了与数据仓库有关的内容。这部分功能,使用Crystal Reports9实现。现在,此实验室信息管理系统已经成功在山东省分析测试中心运行,完善了质量体系,管理能力有了很大提高,中心还在2004年5月通过了中国实验室国家认可委员会(CNACL)的评审。
【Abstract】 Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) stands for the software and hardware system that is designed to manage the laboratories omni-directionally using the computer network technology, data storage technology and speedy processing technology. The LIMS helps the organizations to achieve the aims of 0. A., management informationalization, and paperless operation. Meanwhile, LIMS plays an essential role in the improvement of efficiency and reduction of costs. Coming with the continuous progress of the scientific research and manufacturing technologies, the requirements on the size of samples, project & cycle of analysis, accuracy of data have been increasingly higher than every before. And the traditional manual management does not fulfill those requirements any more. Therefore, laboratories abroad have dedicated their efforts to the advanced network management and the domestic laboratories have carried out some beneficial trials in this area as well.This dissertation introduced my whole process in the development and implementation of the "Management Information System for the Shandong Provincial Central Laboratory of Analysis and Testing (SDATC)" . The design of the system functions follows the standard of GB/T15481-2000 (idt ISO/IEC 17025) and referring to the LIMS international standards and standards of other international quality management & assurance systems. In order to assure a standard procedure and high efficiency and to provide a standardized and optimized platform, the key elements in the laboratory, i.e. personnel, facilities, instruments, samples, measures of calibration and environment were strictly managed and controlled. For implementation, the distributional structure of Client/Server was used in the Central Laboratory, and the development tool of Power Builder 9. 0 and the database of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 were used on the Windows platform. In the mean time, a customer serving system with the Browser/Server structure was built up to provide the customized visit and interaction to the external users. In this customer serving system, Internet Information Server (IIS) provided by Windows 2000 Server was applied for server platform, dynamic World Wide Web (WWW) application was provided by Active Server Page (ASP), and Microsoft Visual InterDev 6 and Microsoft FrontPage XP were used fordevelopment tool applications. The development languages use JavaScript, HTML and Java. Moreover, the experiences acquired in the process of system implementation, such as the optimization of database, network structure and programs were introduced in this dissertation as well. In additional, to fulfill the management requirements of the SDATC, some data warehouse related designs for effective integration of both internal and external data were provided so as to support the application and decision-making activities of the analysts and the executive level. This function was realized by the application of Crystal Report 9.Now, the above mentioned LIMS has been running in SDATC successfully. With the operation of the LIMS, the quality system and capability of management has been greatly improved. SDATC passed the authentication of the China National Approbate Committee of Laboratories (CNACL) in May, 2004.
