基于F-P标准具的色散补偿器件的研究

【摘要】 随着光纤通信的迅速发展,用户对通信容量的需求日益增加, 信道速率不断提升。光纤损耗对系统的传输距离不再起主要限制作用, 色散便上升为首要限制因素之一。本文论述了F-P标准具对色散进行补偿的基本原理,在此基础之上设计了一种基于F-P标准具的色度色散补偿器件,并给出了该器件对系统进行补偿的结果。为进一步深入研究色度色散补偿打下一定基础。本文对基于F-P标准具的色散补偿器进行了理论和实验研究。全文主要内容如下:(1) 介绍了光纤色散的成因,以及当前国际国内在色度色散补偿研究方面的现状及其发展趋势。比较各种色散补偿方案,提出了一种结构简单、成本低的F-P标准具色散补偿技术方案。(2) 分析了F-P标准具产生色散的原理,利用多光束干涉的理论,建立了F-P标准具的色散补偿理论模型,并分别分析了反射型和透射型的输出光强分布、时延和色散特性,并做了对比。(3) 设计并实现了基于反射型F-P标准具的色散补偿器。阐述了该器件的设计思路,分析了组成元件准直器对器件损耗的影响,以及F-P标准具的参数对色散曲线的影响,确定了比较合理的结构参数,并制备出实际器件。(4) 利用2.5Gbit/sDWDM系统进行了色散补偿实验,测试结果与理论计算比较接近,达到了预期的补偿效果,从而验证了理论分析的正确性和设计方案的可行性。(5) 分析现有的F-P标准具色散补偿器存在的不足,提出了F-P标准具色散补偿器需要考虑的性能参数,并提出改进意见。
【Abstract】 With the development of optical communication, the requirement for communication capacity is unlimited, and the channel rate is increased continuously. Dispersion is one of the mainly limited factors to the transmission distance. In this paper the basal theory of the dispersion compensation based on F-P etalon is dissertated. A kind of apparatus for chromatic-dispersion based on F-P etalon is introduced and the compensated results of this apparatus are presented. This paper is a foundation for further research in chromatic-dispersion compensation.Theoretical analysis and experimental research in the dispersion compensator based on F-P etalon are presented. Main contents are as follows:(1) The cause of the fiber dispersion is discussed. The latest development in dispersion compensation is reviewed. A kind of compensator based on F-P etalon with simple configuration and low cost is proposed.(2) The cause of the dispersion arosed by the F-P etalon was discussed. A model on dispersion compensation of F-P etalon is derived from the theory of interference of multiple beams. The light intense profile of output beams, time delay and dispersion properties of the reflected etalon and transmitted etalon are analyzed and compared.(3) The compensator based on reflected etalon is designed and realized. The design of the compensator is stated. The loss model of collimators is demonstrated. The loss arosed by the collimator is discussed. The impact of parameter of F-P etalon for the dispersion curve is analyzed. The reasonable structure parameters are choosed and the device is made.(4) The compensation experiment is tested on the 2.5Gbit/s DWDM system, and the compensated results approaches to the simulation results. Experimental results show that this kind of compensator can do well in practical applications.(5) The quality factors, which should be considered, of the dispersion compensator based on F-P etalon are listed. The disadvantages are analyzed and improvement suggestions are proposed.
