机械密封CAT装置及GY70机械密封性能的研究

【摘要】 过程工业中使用的流体机械普遍存在着泄漏问题。泄漏可能引发火灾、爆炸等事故而导致巨大的经济损失,还会造成严重的人员伤害及环境生态破坏。机械密封是一种应用广泛的旋转轴动密封,它对整台机器设备、整套装置、甚至整个工厂的安全生产影响都很大,特别是在石油化工企业中,对保证设备运转可靠、装置连续生产具有重大的意义。近年来机械密封发展很快,已成为流体密封技术中极其重要的动密封型式。机械密封的理论研究也有了很大的进展,但由于其结构和工况千差万别,至今还没有形成一个完整的理论体系,学术界对密封机理的分析理解还很不一致。要形成一个完整的机械密封理论体系,尚需大量的理论和试验研究。本文以机械密封型式试验及科研开发试验的要求为依据,研制了一套测试性能参数全、弹簧比压可动态调整的机械密封计算机辅助试验装置,并在此试验装置上对机械密封进行试验研究。机械密封计算机辅助试验装置包括机械系统和计算机数据采集系统两大部分。其中,机械系统由试验台架、液压加载泵站、试验介质增压保压装置等部件组成;数据采集系统由传感器、采集电路、串行通信控制电路、组合电源和计算机等组成。试验装置实现了动态下机械密封弹簧比压和振动的测量。该装置可为机械密封现有产品的性能检测和新产品的开发提供有效手段。在机械密封计算机辅助试验装置上对 GY70 型机械密封的基本性能进行了试验研究,得出了弹簧比压、介质压力以及转速对机械密封泄漏量和摩擦功耗的影响规律。试验和研究发现,运行中的机械密封存在一个最佳的密封工况点,通过对弹簧比压的调节与控制,可以实现这一工况。端面摩擦特性是机械密封的基础特性,本文探讨了机械密封端面摩擦机理,总结了端面摩擦状态的判断方法,并就 GY70 型机械密封端面摩擦特性以及端面摩擦特性对泄漏特性和使用寿命的影响进行了分析与研究。
【Abstract】 leakage problem exists commonly for fluid machinery used in the processindustry. Generally, leakage accident may result in fire hazards or explosion disasters,which will lead to enormous economy loss, personal injury and environment pollution.Mechanical seal is widely used in rotation axis seal. Its running condition hassignificant influence on the whole machine, the complete set of device and even thesafety in production of the whole factory. Especially in the petroleum chemicalindustry enterprises, mechanical seals play an important role in assuring theequipment’s reliable operation and the unit’s continuous production. Mechanical seal technology develops very fast in recent years, and themechanical seal product becomes the most important rotating seal in the fluid sealingfield. Great progress has also been made in theoretical research aspect. But owing tovarious structures and operation conditions, a complete mechanical seal theory systemis still not come into being up to now. There are different points of view about sealingmechanism in academic circle. So large quantities of theoretical and experimentalinvestigations are necessary in order to establish a complete mechanical seal theorysystem. On the basis of the requirement of the mechanical seal modeling test andscientific research test, a new mechanical seal computer aided testing device has beendeveloped. The main performances of mechanical seals can be measured in thisdevice, in which the spring pressure can be dynamically adjusted. Utilizing this device,large numbers of experimental investigations on mechanical seals are carried out. Computer aided testing device of the mechanical seal system includes two majorparts, the mechanical system and the computer data acquisition system. Themechanical system is composed of test-bed, pump station, pressurized and holddevice of test medium. The computer data acquisition system is composed of sensors,data acquisition circuits, serial communication controlling circuit, combined powersupply and computer. The testing device can measure the spring pressure andvibration under dynamic conditions. It is an effective means to evaluate theperformance of the mechanical seals in service and new developed mechanical sealproducts. In the Computer aided testing device of the mechanical seal system, the II<WP=5>ABSTRACTexperimental investigations on the basic performance of the GY70 mechanical sealhas been carried out. The influence of the spring pressure, medium pressure and therotate speed on the leakage rate and frictional power consumption of the mechanicalseal have been investigated. It has been found out that an optimum operation pointexists for this type of mechanical seal, and it can be achieved by means of controllingthe spring pressure. The friction characteristic of the seal face is one of the basic properties of themechanical seal. The face friction mechanisms of the mechanical seal are discussed,and the method of judging the face friction condition is summarized in this thesis. Theface friction characteristic of the GY70 mechanical seal and its influence on theleakage rate and working life are also studied.
