高分子液晶的合成及其血液相容性研究

【摘要】 液晶态的血液相容性是目前抗凝血材料研究的一个新领域,本文是在一系列液晶态材料血液相容性研究的基础上以羟丙基纤维素(HPC)和丙酰氯(丁酰氯)为原料合成羟丙基纤维素丙酸酯(PPC)和羟丙基纤维素丁酸酯(BPC)两种液晶高分子化合物,并对其合成条件和相变行为进行了研究,结果表明:反应时间、反应温度和酰氯的用量均对产物中的酰基含量有影响,其中以酰氯用量影响最为明显。DSC的表征和偏光显微镜的观察结果表明,HPC和BPC是室温下处于液晶状态的热致胆甾型高分子液晶。其后用聚氨酯(PU)和合成的两种液晶高分子制备了PPC/PU和BPC/PU液晶复合膜,并研究了液晶复合膜的力学性能和血液相容性,研究结果表明:虽然液晶的加入会使PU的抗张强度和断裂伸长率下降,但其明显改善了PU的血液相容性。因此可以得出结论:不仅小分子液晶对改善材料的抗凝血性能有一定的作用,高分子液晶也能改善材料的抗凝血性能。

【Abstract】 For the purpose of research on relationship between liquid crystal phenomena and blood compatibility, the propionic, n-butyric esters of hydroxypropyl cellulose(referred to as PPC, BPC) were prepared with hydroxypropyl cellulose(HPC) and propionyl chloride/ butyryl chloride. The reaction conditions and phase behavior have been studied. The results show that the reaction time, temperature and amount of propionyl (or butyryl) chloride have effect on content of propionyl(or butyryl), and the amount of proionyl chloride(or butyryl chloride)is more obvious than the other factors. The DSC result and the observation of polarizing microscope indicate that PPC and BPC are thermotropic polymer liquid crystals exhibiting cholesteric reflection color at room temperature. Then PPC/PU and BPC/PU membranes were prepared with the use of polyurethane(PU). The mechanic properties and blood compatibility of these two membranes have been tested. It is indicated that the strength of PU is weakened and the elongation is reduced because of the addition of the polymer liquid crystals. However, the PPC and BPC have improved the blood compatibility of PU. It concludes that the liquid crystal structure has good effect on improvement of blood compatibility of materials such as PU.
