数据仓库技术的研究及其在校园信息港中的应用

【摘要】 数据仓库技术是当今流行的数据库技术,能够帮助用户对数据进行加工处理,发现其内在的规律性,帮助决策者指导企业决策和发掘企业的竞争优势。 目前,中南大学校园网络以及各部门的业务系统彼此之间都是独立的,很难根据这些信息来辅助学校的决策与管理,要实现决策支持功能,就要对各部门的异构数据进行集成。所以我们考虑用数据仓库构造一个功能强大的数据集成系统,实现对学校各部门的“信息孤岛”进行连接、交互和集成,对各种分布、异构的数据源进行全局、统一、高效的访问和管理,辅助学校领导的决策和管理。 本论文首先对数据仓库进行的分析和研究,并和传统的数据库技术进行比较,得出结论,在校园信息服务中,数据仓库较数据库而言,其数据的组织存储更为有效,在面向分析的决策服务过程中能够提供更好的支持。根据目前校园网中数据种类多、覆盖面广等问题,采用软件代理技术实现校园数据的采集、转换和集成,采用数据仓库来存储采集到的信息,并采用星型雪花模式作为多维数据模型,使系统对数据进行多角度的访问和分析更加方便。其中“软件代理”实现了信息采集程序的下载,便于业务扩展,提高了系统的通用性、灵活性、可移植性和可扩展性。

【Abstract】 Although human being has accumulated large number of data quantity, people can’t make decision according the "data sea". So the data warehouse technology appears to solve above-mentioned hard problem, and the data warehouse technology has become one of the focuses of database technology nowadays. Data warehouse technology can help user to process data, then to find its intrinsic rule. And help company leader to make enterprise decision and explore company’s competitive superiority.As to CSU campus network, the information system of each department is isolated, so it is very difficult to support management or decision. In order to realize decision support function, we must integrate all department data. So we are about to adopt data warehouse technology to complete data integration task. We will construct a powerful data integration system with data warehouse, and realize all department data integration, connection and cooperation. So we can use it to support leaders’ decision and management.In this thesis, fist, we study the basic conception and principle of data warehouse, and compare it with traditional database technology. So we draw a conclusion data warehouse can store data more efficiently and supply better support comparing traditional database. According to our campus data character, we adopts Muti-agent technology , realize different kinds of database integration; Starflake schema is used for describing multi-dimension data model, which make it convenient to access and analyze data. In the process of developing and researching this system, this paper has brought forward and carried out "software agent", which adapt to the common management information system. Because of their applicability , flexibility and replanting.
