用SNMPv3协议对IPv6网络设备进行性能管理

【摘要】 随着计算机网络规模的扩大和复杂性的增加,网络管理在计算机网络系统中的地位越来越重要。SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol,简单网络管理协议)提供了一种支持多供应商、可协同操作的网络管理工具,以其简单性和可扩展性获得了广泛的使用和众多厂商的支持。其第三版本SNMPv3,为SNMP提供了全新的安全特性,也为将来SNMP的发展创建了一个整体框架。 IPv6是Internet互联网的新一代通信协议,它是在IPv4的基础上发展起来的,具有IPv4的所有功能,并增加了一些更为优秀的功能。IPv6具有很多新的特性:如超大地址空间—128位地址,对移动设备的支持,更灵活的接入方式以及对安全的增强。作为新一代IP技术—IPv6,必将在未来几年内得到大量应用,包括支持IPv6的主机和互连网设备,这将导致现有的网络管理软件不能工作。从目前来看,SNMP协议 太原理工大学硕士研究生学位论文是各种网络管理所使用的主要手段,在相当长的一段时间内还不可能出现其它的可替代的方法,因此开发IPv6环境下的SNN于网络管理工具具有重大的意义。 本文详细论述了网络管理系统的一般组成原理和SNMPv3协议;以RFC2553和RFC2292为基本依据,遵循盯C2571一即c2575(sNMpv3),通过分析NET- SNN于软件包,探讨了移植IPv4程序的方法,提出了 SNN[P v3从IPv4转换到IPv6的地址表示和主要数据结构,分析了性能的变化;并对基于简单网络管理协议的网络性能管理系统进行了设计。

【Abstract】 With the expansion in scale and the increasing in complexity of computer networks, network management becomes more and more important. SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) provides a kind of network management method capable of being operated coordinately and supporting many ISPs. It is very popular because of its simplicity and scalability. SNMPv3 (SNMP version 3) has new security features and constructs a overall frame for SNMP’s development in the future. IPv6 is a communication protocol for the next generation Internet. Based on IPv4, it has all the functions of IPv4. Besides, it has some new features such as 128-bit large address space, supporting for mobile devices, more flexible connection mode,strengthened security, etc. IPv6 will predictably become very popular in the near future, which would probably cause the incompetence of the existing network management software. As the main method to manage networks, SNMP will not be substituted by other methods in a long time. Therefore, it is of great importance to develop SNMP network management tool based on IPv6.In this paper, general compositive elements of network management system and SNMPv3 protocol are proposed. A network performance management system based on SNMP is designed. Following RFC2571-RFC2575 (SNMP v3), RFC2553 and RFC 2292, by analyzing NET-SNMP package, the method of transplanting IPv4 program is discussed by analyzing the change of address express and main data structure while SNMPvS transforms from IPv4 to IPv6. The analysis of the change of performance is provided.
