【摘要】 作为乾隆时期的一部长篇章回小说，《野叟曝言》向来是被轻视的，那原因，无非是由于书中浓厚而陈腐的道学气以及作者为炫耀才学而喋喋不休的议论令人不堪卒读。但是，平心而论，在长篇章回小说鼎盛期的清代中期，除了《红楼梦》、《儒林外史》等极少数者外，绝大多数说部均难免此病，比《野叟曝言》出名得多的《儿女英雄传》、《歧路灯》等在思想上就未必比它清新、进步多少。所以，问题的关键不在于简单地否定它们，而在于通过分析得到更深的认识。本文即试图对《野叟曝言》进行整体研究，对其创作的得与失进行探讨和评价。 全文共分四章。 第一章《野叟曝言》的叙事本原，通过追索夏敬渠的生平、家世，探讨小说的素材来源，通过寻绎思想背景，解释小说的创作动机。 第二章《野叟曝言》的叙事内容，分“英雄叙事”和“婚恋叙事”两部分来论述小说主人公在现实功业和家庭生活方面的特点及其文化意蕴。 第三章《野叟曝言》的叙事结构，从结构线索和情节动力两个视角把握小说的整体结构，得出板块构造和花型图式的结论。 第四章《野叟曝言》的叙事操作，说明作者对时间和空间等叙事要素的不同处理对叙事形态形成的作用，以及表现和再现意识对小说文本的影响。更多还原

【Abstract】 "Chitchat of An Old Fellow in The Sun" is a couplet chapter contents novel in the Qianlong ero, but it has been looked down upon since it was written. For the stale Neo-Confucianism significance and too much prolix comment, the novel makes the readers reluctant to read it completely. According to the objective facts, most novels in the mid-term of the Qing Dynasty have such drawbacks except "A Dream of Red Mansions" and "The Scholars". "A Light on the Meandering Road" and "Lovers Hero’s Biography" are fomous novels in the ero , but their ideas are’t so progressive as "Chitchat of An Old Fellow in The Sun". So the crux of the matter is not to deny it simply, but to gain more knowledge deeply. This thesis tries to get a complete comprehension about the strong points and the weak ones of the novel.There are four chapters.The first chapter is to explore the narrative motive. By tracing the writer’s life, works and family background. I find out the narrative souce material. By probing the background of thought to explain narrative motive.The second chapter deals with the narrative content about hero’s life and marriage which includes cultural implication.The third chapter is to point out the narrative structure. From the angles of the structure thread and the story driving force, we consider that the structure of the novel is a type of lump and flower.The fourth chapter is on the narrative operation. "Showing and Telling" illustratates that writter handles time and space to form the different narrative pattern. "Objective and Subject" discusses the influence of expression and reappearence in the work.更多还原
