基于web service的多Agent系统网关的技术研究

【摘要】 Web Service技术通过采用广泛接受的网络协议和技术来解决异构平台跨组织边界的调用问题,获得了极大的成功。然而充分发挥Web Service的潜力需要采取更快速访问信息和服务的模式,即Web Service全面自动化。Agent技术可以提供调用框架使组件能够执行搜索,协同问题解决等工作,从而能够满足动态,异构环境的要求。下一代Web Service将不需要人工参与调用过程,而直接利用Agent组件实现自动调用,软件Agent可以对提供特定服务和属性的Web Service实现资源发现、调用、组合和监控。 Web Service作为Agent行为理论为集成Web Service技术和多Agent技术提供理论支持。如果Web Service可以是Agent行为,那么多Agent之间的连续行为可以表示成Web Service组合、一种行为选择的方式,使得Web Service组合超越传统意义上的问题分解,其目的是创建有效的、稳定的、可靠的子目标,通过子目标的组合,从而完成最终目标,其本质是协同问题解决计算模式。借助于语义Web发展的背景,这种崭新的计算模式可能产生新的应用前景。 鉴于Web Service和多Agent技术具有相对独立的体系结构和通讯协议。为达到集成Web Service和多Agent平台的目的,重新设计、定义规范是不经济,也是不优美的解决方案。经过分析,本文作者觉得使用网关技术来解决WebService和多Agent平台之间的通讯消息协议转换问题是比较合适的解决方案。本文构建了一个试验网关,使得基于SOAP消息通讯的Web Service客户端能够通过特别设计的网关组件,完成调用目标Agent平台中Agent组件的任务,随后目标Agent将结果返回Web Service客户端,调用过程中由网关组件协同网关控制器解决SOAP消息和FIPA ACL消息之间的协议转换问题。
【Abstract】 Web Service has revolutionized the communication of information between organizations by using widely accepted SOAP protocols and transportations. However, realizing the Web Service full potential will require more than rapid access to information and services, which is called Web Service Automation. In effect agent-based technologies provide the mechanism for components to seek work, enter into cooperative agreements and thus otherwise address the requirements of dynamic, heterogeneous environments. Advanced Web Service will not be processed by human attended actions, but by software agents, which should be able to discover, invoke, compose, and monitor Web Service resources offering particular services and having particular properties.Web Service as Agent behavior broke down burden between Web Service world and Muiti Agents world theoretically, then the sequence of Agent behavior means composite Web Services, a selection method, meet cooperative problem solving approach.Since Web Service and Agents are completely standalone technologies, which have there own specifications and communication protocols, redesigning specifications to integrate those two technologies is an impossible mission. Thus using gateway to translate communication message between Web Service platform and Multi Agent platform is a well done approach. This article build a experimental gateway system that allow normal SOAP-based web service request to be served by agent through several gateway components, and send back response to web service client.
