面向嵌入式PC的eCos支持与完善

【摘要】 随着后PC时代的到来，越来越多的产品中嵌入了计算机。后PC时代是计算无处不在的时代，计算机将渗透到我们生活的方方面面。嵌入式系统将成为后PC时代的擎天之柱。 为了占据广阔的嵌入式应用市场，嵌入式系统的设计者一方面要设计出越来越复杂的产品，一方面又要缩短产品投放市场的时间。传统的嵌入式系统一般指非PC系统，通过专门设计来满足特殊需要。但是，目前市场上有各种标准的PC部件，其价格常常低于同等的定制部件。因此，购买PC部件而非定制可能是缩短开发时间的一种明智选择。很多设计人员准备使用嵌入式PC，以便利用PC的性能和价格优势并从现有的优秀的软件开发工具中获益。 所谓嵌入式PC，是将一台PC设计成一件嵌入式产品或产品中的一个部件。产品内嵌入PC可发挥PC的各项智慧型功能，嵌入式PC可与任何产品结合发挥PC功能。嵌入式PC的发展主要得益于台式PC的普及。正因为台式PC的广泛应用和推广，使越来越多的人了解它、熟悉它、愿意使用它。随着性能地不断提高和价格的大幅度下降，嵌入式PC正以锐不可挡之势迅速渗透到后PC时代的各个应用领域。 本文首先介绍了嵌入式系统及嵌入式PC的概念，随后介绍了一个实时嵌入式操作系统一嵌入式可裁剪操作系统eCos(embedded Configurable operating system)。结合嵌入式PC系统的特点，文章重点分析了eCos对嵌入式PC的支持能力，并指出了其不足之处及完善的可行性。针对eCos对嵌入式PC支持的不足，文章最后详细介绍了对eCos的3个不足之处完善的实现。更多还原

【Abstract】 With the coming of the Post-PC-Era, more and more products today have been embedded with computers. The Post-PC-Era can refer to the era in which everything is embedded. Computers will penetrate through every pore of our life. The embedded-system will become the mainstream of Post-PC-Era.To occupy the spacious embedded system market, the designers of embedded system are obliged to design more sophisticated products and shorten the cycle of R&D. Traditional embedded systems usually refer to the systems which do not rely on a PC platform, they are designed in a special way. However there are various standard PC components in the market which are often cheaper than the corresponding customized components. So utilizing standard PC component but not customized components maybe is a more sensible selection to shorten the cycle of R&D. Some embedded system designers are tending to use embedded PC as the platform of their products. To do this, they can take advantage of the price and performance superiority of PC, at the same time there many excellent software development kits they can use.The so called embedded PC can refer to a PC which is a piece of product or the component of a product. The product embedded with a PC can take advantage of the various wit functions of PC; embedded PC can be integrated into all the products. The popularity of desktop PC contributes much to the rapid development of embedded PC. Because the widely use of desktop PC, more and more people are familiar with it. With the increasing performance of PC and the sharp decreasing of its price, embedded PC is penetrating through every field of Post-PC-Era.The paper introduces the concepts of embedded-system and embedded-pc, following by the introduction of an embedded real-time operating system-eCos which is the abbreviation of the embedded configurable operating system. Based on the features of embedded-pc, the paper places its emphasis on the support of embedded-pc that eCos can provide, and analyze the shortages of eCos and the feasibility of atonement. Aim for the shortages of eCos on supporting embedded-pc, the paper discusses 3 main problems we have resolved in detail at the end of the paper.更多还原
