基于定点DSP的MP3解码系统设计与实现

【摘要】 MPEG(运动图像专家小组)是ISO/IEC的一个工作组,负责制定有关活动图像、音频及其组合的压缩、解压缩、处理和编码等方面的技术标准。MPEG1-LAYER3是MPEG-1国际标准音频(ISO/IEC 11172)第三层编码/解码算法,它具有压缩比例高,还原音质好等诸多优点。利用这种标准制作的MP3格式音乐,已经在网络上得到极大流行。因此,出现了一种新的消费类电子产品一便携式MP3播放器,它具有极大的市场前景。 基于以上背景,我们提出了基于定点DSP的MP3解码系统设计与实现的研究课题,本课题的主要目标就是以TI公司的54X定点DSP为核心,研究MP3硬件解码的快速算法及在定点DSP芯片上的实现,为此我们设计了MP3解码系统的硬件平台,它可以从PC机下载,存储MP3数据流文件,由DSP完成解码工作后通过CODEC播放。并可以利用其良好的软件升级性能,完成多种格式音频的编解码工作。 论文首先简要介绍了MPEG系列国际标准音频编解码技术的发展,对目前常用的音频压缩算法的性能参数进行了比较。阐述了MP3解码流程,深入研究了MP3国际标准解码算法的特征,对解码流程中的各模块进行了分析。重点介绍了MP3播放系统的原理与结构,该系统以一片通用定点数字信号处理器TMS320VC5409为核心完成数据解码和控制功能,结合一片复杂可编程逻辑器件EPM7128进行外围控制,并通过符合USB1.1标准的USB连接芯片与主机进行通讯,使其能够满足实时的MP3数据流存储,解码及数字音频的输出。并介绍了系统中各模块硬件电路的调试方法,针对容易出现的问题进行了阐述。 厂\硕士学位论文 @AMSTER’S Tffem 最后采用 CCS开发系统中的 DSP/BIOS实时软件控制设计程序模块,进行 任务的调度和实时分析。对MP3系统实时软件设计方法进行分析,主要包括 控制与数据处理流程的设计方案,对各模块进行分析。论文最后对解码流程 呻的大运算量模块进行了研究,重点针对子带综合滤波器中的IDCT运算进行 改进,提出一种基于定点DSP的快速算法,降低了程序的计算量和数据存储 量,并在定点数字信号处理芯片上得到实现。
【Abstract】 MPEG (Moving Picture Experts Group) is a working group of the ISO/IEC Organization, The coding and decoding Technology Standand of the moving picture and audio is established by them. MPEG-1 LAYERS describes the 3th Layers digital audio algorithms of the MPEG organization, and it has high compression and excellent audio quality. The music that compressed in this audio format has been very polular on the Internet. So a new consumer electronic product梡ortable mp3 player has huge market value now.The goal of the thesis was to establish a hardware system which use a popular digital signal processor to decode the mp3 music, it can download the mp3 bitstream form the PC and store the data in the flash memory. And the DSP chip can update its software easily, so we can decode different format music using the hardware system.The codec technology of the MPEG series ISO/IEC standards are outlined in the thesis, and the feature of MPEG-1 LayerS standard decode algorithm is studied. The principle and structure of the decoding system are described and analyzed, the system uses a digital signal processor TMS320VC5409 as a key device with a complex programmable logic device EPM7128, and use a USB chip according with USB1. 1 protocol to communicate with the PC, it can decode the mp3 bitstreams realtime and output the digital audio by a speaker. The hardware debugger isintroduced in the thesis, and some important details are emphasized. The DSP/BIOS real time design module of the CCS is used for the software design. The real time software design for the MP3 system, inclding DSP control software and DSP data processing software, is discussed in the paper. In order to reduce the computing complexity and the needed data storage , some fast algorithm of the decoding flow are studied, the IDCT module in the Synthesizer Subband Filters is discussed detailed. A algorithm of IDCT implement on the fixed-point DSP chip is given.
