【摘要】 本文首先回顾了传统有线电视网向现代HFC网络的演进过程，并简要介绍了国际上关于在HFC网络上实现综合业务传输的相关标准，然后就现今最流行的基于MCNSDOCSIS协议的Cable Modem的整体组成和基本原理作了总体介绍，并按此标准提出了Cable Modem的具体实现方案。论文详细介绍了实现过程中的具体工作，主要包括芯片的选型、硬件电路的原理设计和布线以及软硬件编程等。文中还给出了系统的测试结果，并对结果进行了分析。论文的最后就有线电视网在宽带接入竞争方面提出了一些业务扩展的策略并对这些策略的实施提出了较为详细的实现方案。更多还原

【Abstract】 In this paper, we review firstly the evolution of contemporary CATV-HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coax) from traditional cable networks and concisely introduce the relative standards designed to facilitate the implementation of data services over HFC cable networks. There is an integrated description of system architecture and fundamentals of cable modem based on MCNS DOCSIS, one of these standards. And then, a concrete implementation scheme is shown by the author according to DOCSJS standard. The major work in the paper includes choice of chip and other components, designing the hardware circuit and wiring, software and hardware programming, and so on. The testing results of system have been also given, attaching the analysis of the outcome. At the end of this paper, some new tactics of service expansion are devised and detailed schemes are posed, which will take a challenge of broadband access for CATV.更多还原
