【摘要】 本学位论文的目的是正确、系统地阐述科学精神、民族精神；论述二者之间的密切关系；从理论和实践上阐明倡导科学精神是振兴当代中华民族精神的法宝。 本文从阐述科学精神的含义出发，对科学精神的基本内涵和科学精神的历史演变进行了介绍，概括和探讨了科学精神的社会功能。接着文章阐述了民族精神的内涵、基本特征及其与社会发展的内在关系。在此基础上，就中华民族精神的时代特征进行了较为系统的研究。 本文深入分析了精神支柱的实质及其重要意义，指出强大的精神支柱可以激励人心，鼓舞斗志，召唤民众始终如一地朝既定目标奋勇前进；而旺盛的民族精神需要可靠的精神支柱，在当代中国，邓小平理论就是振兴中华民族精神的可靠的、强大的精神支柱。 本文明确提出倡导科学精神是振兴当代中华民族精神的法宝，不但从理论上以振兴当代中华民族精神的有益思路为立足点对其作了论述，而且结合西部大开发这一伟大实践，将论证引向深入。 本文采用理论与实践相结合、宏观研究与微观剖析相结合的研究方法。更多还原

【Abstract】 This thesis aims to illustrate the spirit of science and the spirit of nation correctly and systematically and to discuss the close relationship between them, what?s more, it analyzes, from theory and practice, the initiation of the spirit of science is the powerful formula of the rejuvenation of the contemporary Chinese nation spirit. Form expounding the meaning of scientific spirit, the paper introduces the scientific spirit抯 basic connotation and historic development and the paper also summarizes and discusses the social functions of the scientific spirit. Then, the paper expounds the connotation of the National spirit, basic characteristic and its internal relations with social development. On this basis, the paper studies the characteristics of the 慍hinese Nation?s soul systematically. The paper analyzes the substance of spiritual prop and its significance, it also points out that the powerful spiritual prop will encourage people, inspire their fight will , and impel our people to move on permanently towards the fixed goal; While a vigorous soul of nation requires a reliable spiritual prop. In today?s China, the theory of Deng Xiao Ping is just the reliable and powerful spiritual prop to rejuvenate the soul of Chinese Nation. The paper has clearly proposed that advocating the spirit of science is the powerful formula of rejuvenating the contemporary Chinese Nation, and it?s not only expounded theoretically on the basis of beneficial thought to promote the contemporary national spirit, but also combines itself with the gi~eat experience of Westen Development so as to demonstrate it thoroughly.
