互动与选择——语境与语体关系论

【摘要】 虽然早在《圣经·旧约》中就已记载了早期人类语言分化问题的思考，但语言研究直到近期都是脱离社会的，最近几十年，现代功能语言学日益兴盛才逐渐打破“为语言而研究语言”的传统观念，从而开辟了语言学新的研究领域。 语体学就是其中一株新苗。但是，它作为一门新兴学科还有许多空白与不足企待人们去研究、去探索。从当前的研究成果来看，各种不同研究模式的存在在一定程度上导致了语体学界的混乱局面，但也不断地为语体研究提供新的思路和方法。本文就试图借鉴以上几种研究模式的成果来探讨语境与语体之间的关系。作为两个动态集合，语境和语体之间的关系应是互动统一的。因为语境总是由一系列与语体选择密切相关的因素组成，并和一定的语体选择过程相始终。语境具有强大的功能，它可以确定言语的意义，消除歧义现象并能神奇般地创造言外之意。在言语交际中，语境对语体的选择具有极大的制约性。而在长期的言语实践中，语体对语境的适应性也是不容忽视的。语言是不能遗传的，每个人出生后都必须习得语言，最有趣的是，人类在习得语言的同时也习得了语体。人为什么要习得语体呢？这正是适应环境的结果。人类不仅要习得语体，还要对它发展完善并灵活地加以运用。因此语体研究是与“人”和“社会”紧密相联的，只有把它定位在语言、社会、人三位一体的构架中，回归语言本位，才能进一步揭开其神秘面纱。更多还原

Because of this, more and more mew fields are to be explored. styli.stics is one of these new fields of language research. But, as a new field, it need people to study, to research. Seen from the study pefczmance now, we can use these mind to study the relationship between context and style. As two moving things forever, the relationship between co- ntext and style must be dialectical. Because context is always made by some frame with relate to ~tyIe selection, and also, go through all process of style selection. Context and style are all imi~ortant ii鼦 ngs in this article.
