【Abstract】 By using a practical example from beginning to end, this paper first introduces the concepts and methods of building a database’ Entity-Relation model, then describes the technique of the data warehouse in brief and compares data warehouse with traditional relation database. Consequently it presents an idea of building the data warehouse model in the stage of building the correlative database model and expatiate upon the concepts and methods of building a data warehouse. Afterwards it introduces the design and implementation of a CASE tool supporting building models of both database and data warehouse.更多还原
