【Abstract】 The critique of the presuppositions of thought represents Professor Sun Zhengyu’s precise positioning of philosophy. This positioning not only possesses solid theoretical and scientific foundations but also maintains intrinsic consistency with the examination of human nature and human existence. It constitutes a dialectics of historical premise critique and ontological critique, embodying the dual concern of Marxist philosophy for both ultimate and realistic human well-being. From the critique of the presuppositions of thought, the “three inquiries”, further extended and deepened, into philosophy are raised: the inquiry into what philosophy is and what Marxist philosophy is opens up a new theoretical space for the interaction between theory and reality, while the inquiry into the “contemporary Chinese philosophical concepts” demonstrates the scholarly responsibility and mission to construct a contemporary Chinese Marxist philosophical system through the “dual integration”. The critique of the presuppositions of thought reflects Professor Sun Zhengyu’s profound philosophical pursuit centered on the core category of the “sublime”.更多还原
