【Abstract】 The fundamental mission of higher education is to cultivate moral integrity and nurture talent. As a core course in the horticulture major, analysis of horticultural product quality not only imparts discipline-specific knowledge and practical skills but also embodies abundant ideological and political education resources. This article explores pathways for integrating ideological and political education elements into this course. By organically aligning knowledge transmission, competency development, and values cultivation, it seeks to achieve an implicit, yet profound, educational impact.The paper first articulates the necessity of embedding ideological and political education within disciplinary courses. It then identifies and analyzes key ideological and political education connotations embedded in the curriculum, including patriotism, the scientific spirit, the craftsman ethos, legal awareness, and the concept of ecological civilization. Finally, it proposes concrete, actionable teaching strategies, aiming to offer practical insights and reference points for advancing ideological and political education integration in comparable professional courses.更多还原
