【Abstract】 Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are commonly used to alleviate pain and improve joint function in patients with osteoarthritis (OA).However,poor effect and adverse effects severely limit the use of oral and topical NSAIDs.Intra-articular injection stands out as a prevalent method for drug administeration in the clinical management of OA.However,when NSAIDs are administered in solution,the drug is swiftly eliminated from the joint cavity.The intra-articular slow-release drug delivery system (DDS) serves as a promising approach to prolonging the presence of NSAIDs in the joint cavity,thereby enhancing their efficacy.This review offered an insight into the use of intra-articular NSAIDs solution injections in OA and explored the advance in intra-articular sutained-release DDS of NSAIDs for OA.更多还原
