【Abstract】 The Kereyid Khan ruled the Mongolian Plateau in the late 12th and early 13th centuries.Rashid al-Din’s Jami’al-Tawarikh documented six Persian transliterated location names for his winter camp. This paper restores several place names seriously to confirm private hunting ground and palace where Mongolian Khan ?gedei passed away. The Khan’s winter camp was located in the lower sections of the Wangji-Wengjin-Onggin River, which included the southern portion of Mongolia’s Central Gobi province,the southeastern part of the ancient Khangai, and the northeastern part of the Southern Gobi province. The core area of the Khan’s winter camp was located in the Mount Yuetiegu ütegü Hulan and the Plain Yemachuan was located in its northern piedmonts. The Great Mongol Empire’s later Khans including ?gedei used this area for winter hunting. ?gedei’s private hunting place ?ikig or “zhexie”(?ikil) was located at the southeast of plain Yemachuan, while the“Yuetiegu Hulan Palace”where he died was located in the right bank of the lower levels of the Wangji River.更多还原
