【Abstract】 Our national rejuvenation is a historical-cultural-moral expression of China’s development goal and is promoted as a national development strategy. In order to comprehend the implications of this strategy, it is imperative to avoid a superficial understanding of the key participant in the rejuvenation and instead give a meticulous analysis and precise definition. The Chinese nation has been formed and evolved over 5,000 years, but it is today’s Chinese nation that carries out the historical task of our national rejuvenation. In this process, the Chinese nation itself, as the key participant in the rejuvenation, is undergoing constant transformation. In order to effectively promote the national rejuvenation and generate greater benefits, it is necessary to incorporate the reconstruction of the key participant into the rejuvenation strategy, and to promote the development of the key participant in the orientation of optimizing its internal structure, strengthening its self-consciousness, enhancing its overall functions, and upgrading the image of the Chinese nation through specific measures.
