不同外皮形态榉树木材构造特征比较

【摘要】 为了比较不同外皮形态榉树木材构造特征变化,选取光滑型、纵横浅裂型与纵向深裂型3类外皮形态榉树个体,采用微创取芯技术获取木芯,结合宏观观察、光学与荧光显微图像,对各样品的年轮宽度、心边材结构和组织比量进行系统分析,以评估外皮特征与木材构造特征的对应关系。结果表明:树干外皮的开裂形式在一定程度上反映了木材的径向生长量。开裂程度越大,木材径向年生长量越高;外皮的开裂形式与木材细胞组织比量,特别是木纤维存在一定的相关性;外皮开裂形态映衬了木材细胞尺寸与排列方式,如早材管孔的尺寸和排列、晚材管孔的尺寸。不同外皮形态在一定程度上对应了木材径向生长宽度、组织构成及细胞形态的差异,可用以体现榉树木材材性的特征。

【Abstract】 To compare the wood anatomical characteristics of Zelkova serrata(Thunb.) Makino with different bark morphologies, the trunk of smooth, shallowly fissured(irregular transverse and longitudinal fissures), and deeply longitudinally fissured types were selected. Increment cores were collected at breast height using a minimally invasive coring technique. Macrographs, light microscopy, and fluorescence microscopy were employed to systematically analyze the annual ring width, heartwood-sapwood structure, and tissue proportions of each sample, aiming to evaluate the correspondence between bark fissure morphology and wood structure. The results showed that the degree of bark fissuring was positively associated with radial growth: individuals with more pronounced bark fissures exhibited significantly wider annual rings. In addition, bark fissure morphology was found to be correlated with wood tissue composition, especially the proportion of fibers. The fissure pattern of the bark also appeared to reffect cellular characteristics such of the size and arrangement of earlywood vessels and the diameter of latewood vessels. Overall, different bark fissure types corresponded to distinct patterns in radial growth, tissue distribution, and cell morphology, suggesting that external bark morphology may serve as a phenotypic indicator of wood quality traits in Z. serrata.
