【Abstract】 Curriculum ideology and politics is vital for universities to fulfill their core mission of moral education. This article first identifies key issues in ideological and political education within the "Aquatic Animal Behavior and Behavioral Ecology" course, establishing the need to integrate ideological elements into specialized curricula. Consequently, the course has redesigned a three-dimensional teaching goal system. It deeply merges traditional cultural values with modern technology, dedication, ecological civilization principles, and other dimensions to systematically explore the course’s inherent ideological resources. Teaching practices utilize smart platforms like "Xuexitong", employing blended methods such as flipped classrooms, thematic discussions, and enhanced offline teaching. Valueguidance outcomes are incorporated into multi-faceted assessment criteria. Using the "Spatio-temporal Behavior of Aquatic Animals" module as a case study, the article details implementation strategies for curriculum-based ideological integration.
