【Abstract】 Medicine is not only a rigorous science but also a discipline that is profoundly related to human life and emotions.Its core lies in the emotional warmth and humanistic care embodied in medical practice. As a spiritual treasure of the Chinese nation,traditional Chinese poetry culture is rich in humanistic sentiments and ideological and political elements, providing profound cultural nourishment for medical education. Taking Histology and Embryology, a fundamental course in medical education, as an example,this paper explores the feasibility and practical approaches of organically integrating medical education with traditional Chinese poetry culture. By selecting relevant chapters and ingeniously incorporating classic works such as The Book of Songs from the pre-Qin period,Tang poems, Song lyrics, Yuan operas, the Four Great Classical Novels, and Mao Zedong’s poems, this paper aims to demonstrate the unique value of poetry culture in medical education.This exploration not only injects humanistic spirit into medical education but also provides useful references for the teaching of other disciplines.
