【Abstract】 Surface active agents,as indispensable cleansing components in shampoo formulations,hold significant sway over consumer choices.This article adopts a novelized approach,titled “The Battle for the Kingdom of shampoo”,to analyze and contrast two prevalent anionic surfactants found in shampoos—sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES) and sodium N-lauroyl sarcosinate (SLS).Through comparing various aspects such as cleansing efficacy and irritancy,readers gain insight into the distinctions between sulfate-based and amino acid-based shampoos,empowering them to select products tailored to their individual needs.In tune with diversifying consumer preferences,amino acid shampoos have steadily gained ground,emerging as a new trend in the market.A meticulous comparison between amino acid surfactants and conventional ones paves the way for the optimization and advancement of amino acid shampoo formulations.更多还原
