【摘要】 霍州市位于山西省临汾市北端,从地理上看,它是晋南的最北端,与晋中灵石县接壤,是连接晋中、晋南的关键区域。霍州市境内有多处石窟寺、摩崖造像,本次清理的霍州千佛崖摩崖造像是其中一处规模最大的以唐代为主的摩崖造像,且是临汾地区乃至晋南地区规模最大的摩崖造像群。该摩崖造像的发掘,对研究晋南唐代佛教造像以及密宗信仰来源和传播具有重要价值。更多还原

【Abstract】 Huozhou City, located at the northern end of Linfen City and the utmost northern of Southern Shanxi Province, neighboring the central Lingshi County, plays a key role connecting the central and southern of the region. This joint archaeological excavation is carried out to the Thousand-Buddha cliff-sided group statues, which is among the largest cliff-side statue sites in Huozhou City, and the largest in the Linfen and even in the Southern region of Shanxi Province. The Thousand-Buddha cliff-sided statues are dated to the Tang Dynasty. The project holds significant value for the study of the Tang-dynasty Buddhist statues in Southern Shanxi Province and the understanding of the sources and dissemination of Esoteric Buddhism.更多还原
