【Abstract】 The political economy of communication is one of the most important schools of western Marxist critical theory of communication since the 1970s.Under the background of digital capitalism, the importance of communication in capitalist society is increasing, and a digital age communication system characterized by the wide application of social media based on Web 2.0 technology is formed.The political economy of communication pays a close attention to the new characteristics of the communication system in the Web 2.0 Era, such as immediacy, participation and distribution, and makes an in-depth and systematic analysis of contemporary capitalism from the aspects of the criticism of network centralism, the study of digital labor, the analysis of prosumer, the alienation of the democratic potential of the Internet and the materiality of digital media.A systematic review of the critical theory of political economy of communication in the Web 2.0 Era is of great theoretical value for exploring the new changes of contemporary capitalism and the trend of digital crisis from a unique academic perspective.At the same time, this paper will provide reference and enlightenment for guiding Internet and digital economy to develop orderly and promoting social comprehensive governance ability in China.更多还原
