【Abstract】 The legitimacy of the term Fujian Shipyard Administration Bureau is confirmed by evidence from 3 sources: how it is referred to by its founder Zuo Zongtang, in the imperial edict by the Qing royal court, and in the report by the ship administration ministers. Historical facts challenge the view that only the terms Shipyard Administration or Fujian Ship Administration, instead of Ship Bureau and Fujian Ship Bureau.更多还原
