【Abstract】 In 2022, China’s household paper industry continued to grow, with total capacity reaching 20 million tons, the highest level in history, up 6.5% year-on-year; total output was 12.6 million tons, up 3.2% year-on-year; per capita consumption continued to grow, reaching 8.4 kg, already well above the world average(5.7 kg), and even consumption in some of China’s first-tier cities was close to developed countries, said Mr. Cao Zhenlei, president of China Paper Academy, at “China Paper Industry High Quality Development Forum 2023” from March 17 to 19 held in Baoding, Hebei province. He also added that, China’s household paper industry still faces many opportunities and challenges, to which we should focus on solving the problem of overcapacity, developing differentiated products, and strengthening inter-enterprise cooperation as well as upstream and downstream cooperation.更多还原
