【Abstract】 Ornamental plants gradually occupy the important position in human’s day to day life due to the various of aesthetic values. Mutation breeding technology plays a crucial role in unique varieties development, of which γ-rays irradiation breeding is the most widely applied technology and has been made great progress in recent years. In order to clearly understand the current situation of γ-rays irradiation breeding of ornamental plants,the recent applications of ray radiation on ornamental plants was reviewed. The involved problems were discussed and the future research directions were also put forward to provide some theoretical reference for the γ-rays irradiation breeding research in ornamental plants.更多还原
