【Abstract】 Robbe-Grillet’s rejection of the logic of causal order in his novel writing demonstrates his skepticism with regards to traditional narrative strategies. In Dans le labyrinthe, a description of the state of characters is not used to assist the reader and explain their behavior. Instead, we have a narrative line of broken images. When traditional narrative logic fractures, images break free from established rules of intelligibility. The text constructs a maze of images, where the images and their arrangement point towards unknowability. The configuration of similar images constructs a labyrinthine plot and textual structure. The main character and the creator are disoriented, while readers, trapped in a maze that doubles in on itself, are unable to find any sign of order or any exit into meaning.更多还原
