【Abstract】 Zebrafish is a non-mammalian vertebrate that has gained wide attentions as a novel tumor xenograft model in human cancer research.Compared with common mouse models,zebrafish models possess distinct properties of short research period,high throughput,dynamic visualization of tumor growth in vivo,and low cost.This review outlines the advantages and limitations of zebrafish models,the construction and variety of zebrafish tumor xenograft models,and its applications and prospects in anti-tumor drug development and clinical therapy options for preclinical cancer research and precision medicine.
