MC模拟HPGe探测器测量222Rn子体探测效率

【摘要】 补充了 Pylon RN-190氡子体标准源的累积系数,利用该装置制作氡子体γ标准源对HPGe探测器γ探测效率进行刻度,并通过137Cs、60Co点源修正了 HPGe探测器的死层厚度及冷指高度,同时用MCNP模拟该谱仪对222Rn子体圆面源的探测效率。模拟与实验结果表明:Pylon氡子体标准源同样适用于HPGe探测器探测效率的刻度;在RaB的特征能量点上,用MCNP模拟取样滤膜上的222Rn子体源的探测效率,与实测值的相对误差可控制在5%以内。

【Abstract】 We supplemented the cumulative coefficient of the standard source of the Pylon RN-190 radon progeny,and used the device to make the gamma standard source to calibrate the gamma detection efficiency of HPGe detector.The dead layer thickness and cold finger height of HPGe detector were modified by 137Cs and 60Co point source,and the detection efficiency of the spectrometer on 222 Rn daughter circular surface source was simulated by MCNP.The simulation and experimental results show that the standard source of Pylon radon progeny is also applicable to the calibration efficiency of HPGe detectors.At the characteristic energy point of RaB,the relative error between the MCNP analog value and the measured value of the detection efficiency of the 222Rn daughter on the sampling filter can be controlled within 5%.
