【摘要】 司马迁在《史记·货殖列传》一文中创造性地提出"素封"这一概念,为后世树立了富而不贵者的典范。徽商观择前人,以成素封,继承了司马迁的价值观。其实,业儒为仕才是徽商的最优选择,但实际情况往往是:儒与仕不可得兼。徽商子弟在终极追求无法实现的困境下,仍不放弃"显名于时"的追求,他们通过"急公议叙"、捐赀买官等方式入仕。为了解决"贾服而儒行"的悖论性存在的尴尬问题,"素封"就成了徽商的次优抉择。更多还原

【Abstract】 Sima Qian creatively put forward the concept of "Su Feng" in the his "Historical Records: Biographies of Merchants", which introduced to the later generations some images of merchants who were wealthy rather than dignitary, but still had certain social influences. Huizhou merchants learned from the values of Sima Qian and accepted the concept. In fact, the best choice for them is to learn Confucianism and become officials through imperial competitive examination, but it was not workable in the real situation. In this dilemma, Huizhou merchants, in their pursuit of "fame and dignity", obtained official positions in ways of doing charity or paying tributes to the imperial government. Thus "Sufeng" became the second-best choice of Huizhou merchants, who wanted to be both wealthy and decent in the society, although failing to become dignitaries.更多还原
