【Abstract】 Zheng Ruoyong’s legendary work A Note of Jade shapes three characters with distinct personalities-Qin Qingniang is virtuous and resolute, Li Cuicui is cruel and merciless, and her daughter Li Juannu is timid and hypocritical. The female image features in A Note of Jade are not only influenced by the times and literature itself, but also related to the writer’s own thoughts, experiences and personalities. Its female characters express the theme of "keeping away from prostitutes" and "praising for women’s virginity", expose the evil of the feudal prostitution system, and reflect the era style of advocating feudal ethics and rites and the author’s view on women since the early Ming Dynasty.更多还原
