【Abstract】 In addition to the strategies of hiding truth via falsehood,stone writing and monks’ transportation,Dream of the Red Chamber also adopts such a writing strategy as"writing north via south"and"hiding south via north". This strategy goes beyond the selection of materials and the geographical limitations,which can be proved by text analysis and citation of family background. Analyzing the novel from this perspective can not only reconcile all kinds of controversies caused by the coexistence of south and north factors in Redology,but also contributes to the understanding of the author’s writing purpose of"telling ancestors’ virtues"and"knowing about the way to rise and fall".更多还原
