【Abstract】 Today’s college students have diversified values, use networked information and are under complicated influence of different ideological trends. The new situation in China calls for strengthened ideological and political work on the part of college advisors, who have different academic backgrounds and are expected to possess multidimensional capacity. Professionalization of college advisors requires efforts to improve external systems and mechanisms. Advisors themselves also need to fully exert their initiative and determine the path of their professional development based on their growth point.
