【Abstract】 According to the specific geological condition of 2_-2 coal seam and 3 coal seam in a mine,first of all, the feasibility of upward mining of 2_-2 coal seam is studied by theoretical calculation. It is concluded that 2_-2 coal seam can be mined upward after taking certain measures, the mining effects of2_-2 coal seam and its top and bottom are simulated by UDEC after 3 seam mining.
