具有高吞吐量的可靠UDP协议

【摘要】 为提高RUDP协议的吞吐量性能,提出一种具有高吞吐量的改进型RUDP协议。针对RUDP协议中RTT估计器精度较低的缺点进行改进,提出一种具有动态平滑因子的高精度RTT估计方法;对RUDP协议在拥塞控制机制方面的不足做出改进,提出一种基于可用带宽估计的拥塞控制机制。OPNET仿真结果表明,改进型RUDP协议的RTT估计方法比经典Jacobson估计方法具有更高精度,在保证可靠性要求的前提下,协议吞吐量性能比TCP协议提高了17%。

【Abstract】 To improve the throughput performance of RUDP protocol,an improved reliable user datagram protocol(RUDP)with high throughput performance was proposed.To increase the accuracy of round trip time(RTT)estimator,a higher precision RTT estimation method with dynamic time-averaging factor was formulated.To improve the congestion control mechanism of RUDP,a congestion control mechanism based on available bandwidth estimation was presented.The results of experiment and OPNET simulation demonstrate that the RTT estimation method of the proposed protocol has higher precision than Jacobson prediction algorithm.And at the precondition of ensuring reliability,the throughput performance of enhanced RUDP is 17%higher than TCP.
