【Abstract】 In recent years,many domestic scholars have conducted researches on news under the framework of appraisal theory,and most focused on political news and news of people’s livelihood. The studies on economic news are comparatively fewer. Taking the news report "China’s Consumers Still Kicking"on Economist as an example,based on appraisal theory,the paper analyses the composition of attitude resources and the causes in the report from the perspective of positive discourse analysis,using quantitative and qualitative methods,aiming to find out foreign media’s views and attitudes towards domestic consuming behaviors.更多还原
