离子阱射频源谐振回路参数自动调节研究

【摘要】 根据离子阱利用电磁场俘获和囚禁离子的特殊要求,设计并制作了线形离子阱射频源。文章分析了特定容性负载情况下输出高电压射频信号的优化方案,采用可变电感控制方式,使频率可调。设计了一种新型的可调电感器应用于LC串联谐振电路,方便地实现了RF频率计算机自动控制。经自制双磁环电感参数测试表明,所组成的谐振电路频率跟踪效果好。此射频信号通过电容耦合馈送到阱电极,具有良好的频率稳定性和幅度稳定性,调节方便。

【Abstract】 According to the special requirements of ion trap for capturing and trapping ions through electromagnetic field, a linear ion trap radio frequency(RF) power source was designed and made. In the specific case of capacitive load, the optimal scheme of outputting high voltage RF signal was analyzed in this paper. In order to realize adjustable frequency, the control mode of a variable inductor was applied. A new type of adjustable inductor was designed and applied to the LC series resonant circuit, which easily realized the automatic control of RF frequency by computer. The inductance parameters testing results show that the frequency tracking effect of the resonance circuit, which consisted of the self-made double magnetic ring, was good. The RF signal was fed to the ion trap electrode through a capacitive coupling and had excellent frequency and amplitude stability, which was convenient to adjust and use.
