【Abstract】 Wang Yuewen’s latest novel Ailiyuannian mainly describes the emotional journey of an intellectual couple Sunli and Xizi.The emotional journey lasted from their first love to marriage during more than ten years,then they betrayed the " love’calendar year" oath because of their derailment after dwelling from the countryside into the city,and finally they both regressed back family due to ethical affection. The experience of Sunli and Xizi reflects the spiritual crisis and embarrassing reality faced by a generation of middle-aged intellectuals in contemporary social reality.
